    Hello! We are excited to be visiting Disneyland in March 2019. Can you please tell me if Mickey’s 90th birthday celebrations will still be happening then? Thank you.

    Hi there, Susan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The big cheese himself is about to turn 90 years old and you can certainly bet that Disney Parks around the globe will be celebrating this very important birthday! At Disneyland Park, there will be a special celebration cavalcade on November 18 featuring Mickey’s best pals and the Disneyland Band. It has also been announced that the World’s Biggest Mouse Party will begin at the Disneyland Resort in 2019. However, further details like exact dates and new entertainment offerings haven’t yet been released. So it’s possible that you may get to experience some exciting new things during your visit in March. You will definitely want to subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog as they will continue to announce all the details. For example, they recently released images of the new celebration outfits that Mickey and Minnie will be wearing at the Disneyland Resort starting in January. 

    In addition to celebrating Mickey during your visit, you will also most likely get to experience the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival which is slated to return in 2019. This festival features scrumptious California-inspired cuisine and perfectly paired drinks. There are several different booths to visit to savor a vast variety of flavors. Be sure to check the blog in the coming weeks for official dates of this festival.
