Very excited to visit WDW Dec 12 - 23. Is capri sport pants an option for the parks? How thick should my jacket be at night and during the day do you have to wear a sweatshirt? Could my day be ruinned by the rain? Im trying not to overpack...THANK YOU!!

    Hi Elaine,

I just returned from Walt Disney World this week. The weather was quite chilly in the evenings and we wore sweatshirts often. We wore shorts during the day and pants at night so capri pants would work well. Rain is always a possibility but it is pretty dry this time of year. If you have a lightweight rain jacket or wind breaker I would bring that otherwise you can purchase a poncho in the park if it rains. As long as you remember to dance in the rain, your day will never be ruined. Often crowds thin out when the weather turns bad and you just have to go with it.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation with your family,
