Hi, we are excited to visit next August and have booked our park reservations except on days when we plan to visit a water park. Can we still visit one of the 4 main parks after our water park visit if we haven't made a reservation on that day?

    Hello Chris,

It's wonderful to see you here with us at planDisney. It's even more wonderful to hear that you're getting excited for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There's so much to see, do, and experience, and I can imagine how much you're looking forward to experiencing all the magic that awaits you.

As you plan for your visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth," you'll want to check for any updates to the "know before you go" information that will help make your vacation more magical. Currently, both a valid theme park admission and a valid Disney Park Pass system theme park reservation are required for each day you plan to visit a theme park.

While a park reservation is not currently required to visit a water park like Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, a theme park reservation is required to visit one of the theme parks. If your theme park tickets have the Park Hopper Option, you would make a theme park reservation for the first theme park you plan to visit in a day, and then you could visit the other theme parks based on the Park Hopper Hours and the park capacity at the park you'd like to visit.

Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as a fun and helpful way to stay in the know about all the exciting news about the Walt Disney World Resort.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today, Chris!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
