We are so excited to visit in December! When are any deals released for December on tickets/hotels?

Hi Lexi! December is such a great time to visit Mickey and Minnie! The Disney Parks and the resort hotels are picture-perfect for the holidays! Searching for the best deals is an important part of planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I’m happy to offer a few tips!

Based upon the past several years, Guests can usually find money-saving offers for the holiday season beginning in October. Going further back in time, special offers for the holiday season could be found beginning in September. For 2024, I recommend viewing the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World Resort website beginning in September. Continue to check through October.

Lexi, another option is to book your reservation when you’re ready and continue to check for special offers. Guests with existing reservations are always welcome to check if a new special offer can be applied to their existing reservation! My wife and I have successfully done this in the past many times!

Since you are planning to visit during the most magical time of year, you might consider attending the merriest party of the holiday season! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held on select dates from early November through late December at Magic Kingdom Park! This special ticketed event is one of my family’s favorites! There is Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade, a special holiday-themed fireworks show, characters dressed in their holiday best, and special holiday-themed treats and snacks! Of course, no holiday party would be complete without that jolly old elf from the North Pole! Yep, he’s there too! My favorite part of the party is that Guests with tickets for the party are traditionally allowed to enter the park at 4:00 PM even though the festivities won’t officially begin until 7:00 PM. That is a great perk!

Lexi, I hope these tips are helpful as you begin your planning! Come on back to planDisney with more questions!

    Dreams do come true!
