We are so excited for our upcoming trip. Which hotel has the beignets? And which park is closest to that hotel? Thanks!

    Hi Melissa!

Did someone say beignets? Oh, I love this question!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is my favorite moderate hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. It is also the place you'll find piping hot, fresh beignets each morning. Stop by the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory to purchase these blissful baked goods. If you are traveling with a sizable group, I suggest you order a dozen of these treats the day before you hope to enjoy them. Then they'll be all ready and waiting for you to pick them up the next morning. I did this for my students on a recent school trip and they loved them. If you have a Tables in Wonderland discount card, be sure to mention that when you order your beignets as you may qualify for a discount.

Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter is just a short boat ride down the Sassagoula River from Disney Springs. It's also a very short bus ride from Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. One of the many things I appreciate about this hotel is how centrally located it is on Walt Disney World Resort property. You'll find it is very easy to get there and those beignets make it well worth the journey.

    Bon appétit,
    Jill
