Hello all!!! very excited for my upcoming trip to BC from 8/23 to 9/1!!! actually have 2 questions??? what will the crowds and wait time for popular rides be during this time??? And how will i know if pre selected for Magic Bands and FastPass+??? Thanks!!

Hi, Chris!  The earlier part of your vacation should be pretty low in terms of crowds and lines.  There is usually a pretty noticeable drop in visitors towards the end of August, as many Southern schools and some colleges are back in session by then.  You do run up on a holiday weekend, so you may see crowds grow somewhat as you enter the Labor Day Weekend.

You will still want to snag FastPasses for the most popular attractions.  Even during a less busy season, attractions like Toy Story Midway Mania and Soarin', along with many of the thrill rides, can still have a wait of 30 minutes or longer.

If you have been chosen to test the Magic Bands and the FastPass+ system, you will usually be notified via email prior to your vacation.  The notification will come in advance of your trip so you can book your FastPass+ times.

I hope you have a wonderful visit!
