Bonjour Michelle!
Welcome to planDisney! Bravo for having a Disney Fantasy voyage booked for December. Prepare for lots of fun and tons of food! As my pal Remy says, “If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff.” And boy, is Disney Cruise Line filled with the good stuff! I’m especially talking about
Palo and
Remy, the adult-exclusive dining venues.
Having just experienced the new
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure 4D attraction at EPCOT, it truly immerses Guests in the world of
Ratatouille, literally putting them on the same scale as the mice. So any meal inspired by this brilliant movie is fine by me! So glad that Disney Cruise Line designed a dining location around this concept.
At Remy, the
Petites Assiettes de Remy is a six-course tasting menu offered on the first evening. Remy’s Executive Chef and Sommelier will walk Guests through the small plates and wine selections during the evening.
This sounds right up my alley; I can’t believe I haven’t tried this one before! This dining event is offered on cruises lasting 4 nights or longer.
The Petites Assiettes de Remy is a great “apéritif” if you want to sample small plates rather than the “plat principal” of a full dinner. After doing a little searching and not seeing this available to book online, I found out that Petites Assiettes de Remy can only be booked after embarkation. Since activities are always subject to change, I would check once onboard to find out if this unique dining experience is being offered on your sailing. You can use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or go directly to the restaurant to ask. If you are able to book it, be sure to save room and not stuff yourself during the day so you have room for all that delicious food!
Mmm, all this talk of food has me hungry! Michelle, come back to planDisney if you'd like more morsels of planning tips. Wishing you a marvelous cruise from start to finish.
Bon Appétit!
