We are so excited for our upcoming cruise on Disney Wonder. Is it necessary for us to bring lifejackets for our children for on board and for the beaches off the ship? Also are car seats necessary for transportation for shore excursions? Thank you

I'm super excited for your upcoming cruise too, Lisa! Your whole family must be doing the countdown now. You and your little ones are in for a magical treat on the Disney Wonder!

The ship comes equipped with life jackets for the kids to use, so you do not need to bring your own. But if your children are more comfortable with certain floaties or other swimming accessories for use in the pools or at the beach in Castaway Cay, you are free to bring them too. Disney tries to make it convenient for guests with children, so you won't need to take up valuable luggage space. Castaway Cay will also have life jackets available for use while at the beach. There are sand & beach toys available for purchase while on Castaway Cay, or you are more than welcome to bring your own too. What a splashtastic time you'll have!

Shore excursions are usually on big motor coaches and do not require car seats. Hopefully, your little ones won't be too squirmy on your lap during the ride, so that you too, can enjoy the nice scenery and sight seeing.

I hope that this information helps. We're always glad to help with an other planning questions you might have.

    Have a magical day!
    Dolly M.
