Hi Angela!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your
Alaskan adventure will be here before you know it and SO MUCH FUN awaits you onboard and on land!
On my most recent voyage, we were finally able to convince my parents and my sister and her family to join us for their first Disney Cruise! I am sure your first-time travel mates will have just as much fun as my family did, and you will all create some lifelong memories of your vacation together! Since you are of different
Castaway Club status, when you arrive at the Vancouver Port for embarkation, there will be separate lines for you to check-in separate from the first-time Guests OR you can choose to go through the line with them. If you do this, you will likely get the same boarding card number because you can explain to the Cast Member who will assist you with registration that you are all traveling together. If the Silver Castaway Club members would rather go through the line reserved for them, you may receive different boarding card numbers. If this is the case, I would recommend just holding back until the highest boarding card number (that your travel party receives) is called and you can all board together. For example, if your stateroom gets a boarding card number of 4 and the first-time Guests get a boarding card number of 11, just wait until group 11 has been called and you can all board together! If you are all planning on being welcomed and announced separately when you step onboard, make sure you’ve got a video going when the first-time Guests are announced!
Wishing you an adventurous and relaxing voyage through Alaska!
Happy Sailing!
