We're excited for our trip! My toddler and I are not thrillseekers, but my husband and brother are. If I book them a LL for something like Big Thunder at 9AM, can I immediately book a different LL for my daughter and I? Or do I have to wait 2 hrs?

Welcome to planDisney, Taylor! With the promise of spring in the air, I know you must be so excited watching the days breeze by as you plan for a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Genie+ has gadgets and gizmos aplenty to make sure your trip is Taylor-made for you and your family. With the My Disney Experience App, Genie+ makes planning a day for each member of your party practically perfect in every way.

You can select your first Lightning Lane entry starting at 7 am and subsequent attractions either 2 hours after you made your last selection (starting 2 hours after the park opens) or after you have enjoyed the last Lightning Lane attraction you picked.

To make a selection, go to the Tip Board; find the attraction you would like for Lightning Lane entry; select the members of your party who want this experience; and follow the prompts to confirm your choices.

Lightning Lanes and the timeframes for managing them are on an individual basis. If at 7 am, your husband and brother book Big Thunder Mountain Railroad for a 10 am Lightning Lane entry, and you and your daughter pick The Magic Carpets of Aladdin for 8:30 am, right after you see a whole new world, the two of you could make another selection without having to wait for your husband and brother.

My teens recently figured this out. There was a brief moment when they did not like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and I would pick Lightning Lane entries for all of us. My husband and I would borrow their MagicBands and ride twice. Now they have the app, and we can't get away with anything.

One of my favorite tips for a trip to Magic Kingdom Park with toddlers: Big Top Souvenirs has many of the same dazzling confectionaries as you find on Main Street USA, and it has an amazing selection of t-shirts and plush toys. It is easier to navigate than some of the larger shops, especially with a little one in tow. While there, look around the corner for Meet Daring Disney Pals as Circus Stars at Pete's Silly Sideshow. It's not listed on the Tip Board, so I would not want you to miss it!

Please come back to planDisney with any other questions about this world that makes such wonderful things.
