Hello, Erin!
Thank you for bringing your
Disneyland Resort question to
planDisney. I hope you’re enjoying planning all the magical details of your theme park visit!
Yes, you may upgrade your 1-day
theme park tickets to a higher tier to visit on another day, but you will need to make this upgrade before modifying your theme park reservation. The upgrade must happen first because only the available days according to your ticket type will be displayed in the
theme park reservation system. You can upgrade your tickets by visiting a Main Entrance Ticket Booth in the Esplanade between the two theme parks or by calling the ticket helpline at (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member.
Do you plan on adding the
Park Hopper option to your tickets, Erin? My family loves being able to go back and forth between
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park each day. That way, you can visit the two parks at different times based on attraction wait times and the entertainment schedule to make the most of your time! With this type of ticket, you’ll start your day at the park you choose while making your theme park reservation, and then you can visit the other park anytime after 11:00 a.m. as long as capacity allows.
I hope this information helps, Erin, and that you’re able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon! Please feel free to write back if you have any other pixie-dusted planning questions.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
