    Very excited to be taking my 3 children (5,3 and 1) to MNSSHP this year. I'm reading about parades, fireworks, trick or treating. Any suggestions about what not to miss that night? Any characters we might not usually see at the parks? Hoping for Agent P!

    Hi Jennifer,

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my favorite events. Although they haven't released the schedule for the parades & fireworks for the 2011 dates, here is the schedule from the 2010 dates:

    * Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade: 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.
    * Happy HalloWishes Fireworks: 9:30 p.m.
    * Disney's Villains Mix & Mingle: 7:45 p.m., 8:50 p.m., 10:05 p.m. & 11:15 p.m.
    * Special Disney Character Appearances 7:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
    * Trick-or-Treating throughout the party
    * Character Dance Parties throughout the party 

    My kids loved the Trick or Treating but Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade & Happy HalloWishes are my must dos. Its so awesome when the Headless Horseman comes by to start the parade.  The second parade is usually less crowded if your kids can stay up late. 

    I'm not sure how sensitive your kids are to noises but HalloWishes has a couple of loud places when guests participate in a little scary-okee for the scream-a-long. Grab a spot in front of Cinderella Castle or along Main Street for a good view of the parade & fireworks. 

    Among the characters last year we found all 7 dwarfs together in one sport posing for pictures. The princesses all had their princes with them . Lady Tremaine, Anastasia & Drizella were in Fantasyland.  We also saw Abu, Genie & King Louie in Adventureland. Cinderella's carriage was lit up in Fantasyland. Characters may vary by year & event evening. Character meet & greet locations will be indicated on your MNSSHP Guide Map by a white Mickey glove.

    I would so LOVE to find Agent P! He made a one day recent appearance at Disney's Hollywood Studios but that's it. I missed him by 3 days! I'll keep my fingers crossed that we see him at MNSSHP. Wishing you minnie spooktacular memories :-) Allison
