Ahoy there, Hansi, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re up for Parent of the Year by booking this trip, so I’m delighted to help you round out your planning for this adventure.
A
Very Merrytime Cruise aboard the
Disney Fantasy sounds like the perfect holiday surprise for your boys. And while surprises are fun, I completely understand you wanting to know about those theme nights so you can finalize your
packing list. On Night 2 (after your first relaxing day at sea), you’ll have an optional dress-up night. This is also when you’ll celebrate with Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party, a holly-jolly celebration complete with music, dancing, and magical photo ops.
Then on Night 3, following your stop at
Lighthouse Point, you’ll want to put on your best pirate garb for
Pirate Night, complete with a deck party and fireworks (weather permitting, of course!). The first and final nights are considered Cruise Casual, but one of my favorite things about a Disney Cruise is that your cruise wardrobe is entirely up to you, so comfort and creativity are always in style.
Since you’ll be sailing during the merriest time of the year, you’ll also see families embracing the cozy spirit of the season by dressing in coordinating holiday pajamas on the evening of the Holiday Party. It’s the perfect time to capture festive photos in the ship’s atrium, whether for holiday cards or just to remember the smiles of your Very Merrytime adventure. Before you board, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, so you have a daily guide to all the activities, showtimes, and dining schedules onboard in the palm of your hand.
Your five-day cruise will be filled with plenty of pixie dust and festive fun at sea, Hansi. And if you think of any other questions as you count down the days to your trip, we’ll be right here at
planDisney ready to help.
Wishing you smooth sailing and fa-la-la-la-fantastic fun,
Sami
