Hi Moms!! I am so excited to surprise my 9 and 12 y/o sons at Christmas with a trip to WDW Jan 2-6. Curious what you thought the crowd would be like during that time period. I also am curious if we are able to bring snacks/water bottles into the park

    Hi Susan!!!

I think that it is so cool that you are surprising your sons with a Walt Disney World Vacation for Christmas!  I just surprised my son with a trip to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the joy and excitement on his face was awesome!!

I would expect fairly heavy crowds on Jan. 2, but the Christmas/New Year's crowds should start to decrease around Jan. 3.  The rest of your trip should be manageable in terms of the crowds.

Yes, you will be able to bring snack/water bottles into the theme parks!  I always do this to help offset the costs and decrease my vacation budget.  The two main prohibited items in the theme parks are glass containers and alcohol.

I hope this helps and that you have a very magical trip!!
