Hi moms! So excited I get to "steal" my nephews & niece while their parents have a date night and we are going to Chef Mickeys! My question is are we able to view Magic Kingdoms fireworks from there? Our reservations are at 7:30 we plan on le

    Hi there, Lacey!

It sounds like you've got some pretty fabulous plans to be the best Auntie ever! What a kick!

My family really loves the atmosphere of Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort! It's so much fun to enjoy a meal with the monorail gliding by overhead! Plus, we think it's a MUST to say "hello" to The Big Cheese on every Disney vacation!

While you won't be able to see the fireworks display from inside the restaurant, you can go outside afterwards and watch from the front area of the Resort. One of my family's favorite things to do is to hop on the monorail over to Magic Kingdom Park where you can see some of the fireworks from the monorail windows. We've been riding the monorail and had the driver slow down quite a bit so we could watch. Now, the view isn't the very best ever because you're in the monorail, but the FUN factor is high and I love fun!!

I sure hope this helps, Lacey! Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel and please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
