Excited to be staying at WL next month! I have seen that there are some rooms with bunk beds - are these booked differently? Or could I request one? Also, any suggestions on room locations? DD 12 & DS 6.

Robin, I'm so glad you stopped back by with more questions. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my absolute favorite resort in all of Walt Disney World! So, in my opinion, you've chosen wisely.

The bunk bed rooms are booked that way and cannot be requested if you booked a standard room. If you aren't sure how your room was booked, feel free to call (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) and check with them. These bunk bed rooms do typically have a higher room rate, but if you are still interested in one, you could always ask about modifying your reservation and upgrading to this specific room type if there is availability in this category.

I have stayed in several locations in the resort and all seem to be great. Even the woods views are nice because they tend to be slightly quieter. If you prefer to be in a close proximity to the elevators, you can make that request. Keep in mind that the rooms closest to the lobby are convenient for location, but also tend to be noisiest due to the Whispering Canyon Cafe down below. Just remember that requests cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability upon check-in.

Have a marvelous time and be sure to ask about the Hidden Mickey scavenger hunt when you check in. This is a really fun activity that is unique to this resort hotel!
