Hello! Very excited to be staying at POR at the end of September. I wondering what would be best location to request with 3 kids and a 2 yr old. Thank You so much!

Hi there, Jennifer.  I'm a big fan of Port Orleans Riverside; it's such a gorgeous resort.  It sounds like you have a family of six (like me!) and will be staying in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.  Between you and me, I prefer it over the mansions.  Of all the times we've stayed there, I think my favorite location was in lodge 18 (Alligator Bayou).  It was super convenient to the main lobby area (which is also where the food court, restaurant and lounge are located) and the marina.  Getting to the main themed pool was a bit more of a hike, but still close enough that you wouldn't need a stroller for the two-year-old.  If I were you, I'd request lodge 18, 15 or 14.  I hope that helps!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
