I am excited to stay at the Riviera in a 1 bedroom villa with my husband and two sons this June. Can you tell me what the "split bathroom" means?

    Ciao, Melanie!

It's great to welcome you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to hear that you're excited to experience Disney Vacation Club's newest property, inspired by the Italian and French Riviera: Disney's Riviera Resort. Let me tell you, like the Mona Lisa, this property is a work of art!

I had the chance to stay in the 1-Bedroom Villa this December and loved the split bathroom design. I have two boys as well and I know how challenging it can be when everyone is getting ready in the morning. This bathroom will make it easier! In essence, the large bathroom is "split" into one area that houses a sink and a bathtub while the other area has a sink, shower and toilet. The sinks are not next to each other so that two people are easily able to use those areas simultaneously. You can also close off these areas individually when privacy is key.

Another one of my favorite features of the 1-Bedroom Villa (in every Disney Vacation Club Resort) is the washer and dryer. We don't always do laundry on every trip, but the option is great and so convenient. Sometimes I will throw in a load before bedtime just because I can!

Melanie, I hope this helps as you are thinking ahead to June. While you are enjoying your time at Disney's Riviera Resort, I encourage you to take advantage of the Disney Skyliner. Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are only a short flight away from your "home." And... before you board, leave a few extra minutes to marvel at the murals- they are not to be missed!

Grazie mille for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Wishing you a pixie dusted stay!

    Arrivederci,

    Lauren
