Hello! We are excited to spend a few days at Disney during the 50th anniversary celebration in November! If we only have park pass tickets to Magic Kingdom on a day when the Very Merry Christmas Party takes place will we get to stay for the fireworks show?

    Hi Ashley!

I'm so happy to hEAR you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in just a few short weeks! A Disney vacation is always magical, but especially this year as Walt Disney World will be celebrating a golden anniversary! The World's Most Magical Celebration begins October 1, and will continue for 18 months. All four theme parks will be getting in on the fun, with such special Guest offerings as Beacons of Light (all four parks), the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection (all four parks), TWO new Nighttime Spectaculars (Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot), Disney Kite Tails (Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park), 50th Anniversary Celebration Merchandise, and much, much more. I can't wait!

Not only will you be visiting during the 50th Anniversary, but also during the holiday season. There's no better place to get in the holiday spirit than Walt Disney World Resort. From gorgeous decorations to massive, towering Christmas trees at the theme parks and Resort Hotels, you'll be surrounded with festive finery at every turn! I can't wait to see what kinds of holiday treats and merchandise will be offered for Guests to enjoy this year.

There's no need to worry about missing the all-new Disney Enchantment Nighttime Spectacular if you'll be visiting Magic Kingdom Park on the same date as a Disney Very Merriest After Hours and don't plan to attend that night's event. Day Guests will be able to enjoy the Disney Enchantment fireworks show before the park officially closes for the evening. At the regularly scheduled park closing time (after the fireworks), Cast Members will be positioned throughout the park to help filter out day guests. After Hours event guests will then have to show their event wristbands to access certain areas of the park and to enter the queue lines of any attractions. (Event ticketholders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7:00 pm on the evening of the After Hours event, and will be able to enjoy TWO fireworks shows, including Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show.)

Make sure to look down Main Street during the fireworks show - for the first time ever, Disney Enchantment will feature immersive projections that reach from Cinderella Castle all the way down Main Street U.S.A.! I'm so excited to see how this new technology will add an extra bit of pixie dust to an already amazing nighttime spectacular.

I hope you have an amazing visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Please come back and visit us here at planDisney if you have more questions before you arrive in November.

    Have a magical day!
