Hi there! We are so excited to have signed up for our first run disney event! is there a place for my husband to watch my 10 year old daughter and I finish the 5 K? also how does transportation work from the resort?

    Hi Sharilee!

Congratulations on signing up for your first runDisney race weekend.  I hope you love it just as much as I do!

There will be an area at the finish line for your husband to watch you guys finish.  I love it when family members and/or friends are there to cheer me on!  I also love being there to cheer others on.  As your race approaches, you will receive information about spectator viewing areas.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World host resort (for most race weekends, that includes ALL of the Disney Resorts), there will be complimentary runDisney buses going to and from those resorts to all of the race weekend activities (races, expo, etc.).  The buses are for runners and spectators.  You will also receive information with what times the buses will be running when it gets close to your race.  Your hotel lobby will have signs guiding you to where the bus will be picking you up.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions and be sure to visit the runDisney website for more information.
