Hi! Excited t say that we have reservations for AOA in the middle of August 2012. How is the weather normally? What kind of clothing should we pack? I am traveling with 2 teenagers and a 4 yr old plus husband.

    Hello Aida!

August in Central Florida is hot and humid. Average high temperatures will be in the 90's with lows in the 70's.  Definitely pack some ponchos (we bring our own from the dollar store to save some money) and expect chances of thunderstorms during your visit.  The storms are usually quick, however, so don't let that worry you!

Plan to pack lots of light-colored, breathable clothing and hats. My husband prefers to wear the moisture-wicking sport shirts as cotton shirts tend to hold in moisture.  I prefer light sundresses for myself.  Don't forget the sunscreen, too!

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with, Aida!
    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
