We are so excited to be sailing on the Disney Dream in March. I have a question regarding the "bunk" bed in our room. Does anyone have pictures or a description of it? My DD is 5 yrs old. Just wondering if it will be OK for her to sleep in it

    Ahoy, Kelly!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- enchantment and adventure await you in ways you've only imagined!

If you take a look at the Disney Dream Staterooms, you will see a few pictures of the single sleeper sofa as well as the upper berth pull-down bed -- a daytime photo and one of how they are "fixed" by the stateroom host/hostess.  You'll notice that there are rails and a ladder for the upper berth, and there's a "constellation" above it! If you will allow for your child to sleep in an upper bunk bed, then she will probably be just fine for this. (My children varied in age in terms of when they were old enough to sleep on a top bunk. Some were still sleepers, but others were like ponies -- I didn't trust them with altitude!

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
