We are excited to sail again with our FE group and each stateroom is bringing 100 ducks! The moderators of our group said it’s still ok to leave these around even though crew members are removing them, is this true?

    G’Day, Nellie! Welcome to planDisney.

Oh boy! It's about time for you to cast off for your adventure on the beautiful Disney Wonder. I’m excited for you! But not just me. . . the entire cast and crew can’t wait to welcome you aboard, including Captains Mickey and Minnie and their Pals.

I know that hunting for ducks has gained in popularity among cruisers. On my November cruise, I noticed Crew Members removing ducks when they were cleaning. I reached out to Disney Cruise Line, and they shared that their policy has stayed the same. Guests cannot hide things, such as rubber ducks, in staterooms or public areas. It appears the only ducks allowed are Donald and Daisy.

I know this is not the news you hoped to hear, but there are numerous ways to add a playful touch to your cruise experience. One of my favorites is personalizing our stateroom door with magnets. The creativity displayed as I walk the hallways always impresses me. Who knows, a quirky duck door magnet might be the perfect addition to your stateroom.

Nellie, when it comes to onboard activities, the options for fun are endless! Your Cruise Director is working behind the scenes to ensure you and your sailing crew experience the best time. From epic character encounters and lively deck parties to engaging Broadway-quality shows and premier movie screenings, the only challenge will be finding time to do it all. I hope your cruise is filled with unexpected delights.

    SEAS the adventure!
