    Hi! We are excited to have a 7:30 am reservation at Kona Cafe. We are staying at the Wilderness. What is the best way to get there at that time of the day?

    I am so excited for you that you are having breakfast at Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort!Kona Cafe is my favorite place to eat breakfast on my Walt Disney World vacations! Since your breakfast is so early in the morning, the Walt Disney World Transportation System may not be the best option for you. Sometimes special Disney buses run early in the morning to transport Guests to early breakfast and character dining in the parks and at select resorts but you will have to ask at your resort when you are there for availability and timing of these buses. This method of transportation is free for all Guests but it may take extra time to travel from a resort to another resort and often Guests may need to travel to a theme park first and transfer to another bus to get to the resort that they are dining at. There is another service which just started in the summer of 2017 called the Minnie Van Service which will take Guests from resort to resort quickly and efficiently. There is a cost to this service (it is currently $20.00 one way for up to 6 people as I am answering your question at the end of October 2017). I had the opportunity to use the Minnie Van Service last weekend (the third week of October 2017) and I loved it. It was really easy and fast! Currently as I am answering your question, the Minnie Van Service is available for those Guests staying at Deluxe Walt Disney World Resorts through the Lyft App. When I was staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in October 2017 I was given a special code to request the Minnie Van Service using the Lyft App when I opened the My Disney Experience App on my mobile phone. I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
