So excited to have a reservation at BOG for lunch. We've eaten there for dinner once but not for lunch. Is it correct to assume that if we have allergies in our party we cannot pre-order? Is there a huge advantage to pre-ordering? Thank you!

    Hi Kathryn!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love Be Our Guest Restaurant because it is a perfect combination of incredible atmosphere and theming and tasty, unique food! My son has multiple food allergies and my family loves the allergy menu and accommodations at Be Our Guest Restaurant. If you have a food allergy in your group, you will need to order directly at the restaurant. The kiosks make ordering your food quick and easy, even while accommodating allergies. You will find a small button on the screen for food allergies that will allow you to select from the most common allergens, which will filter the menu to show only things that are safe. Then you can select the items you want and add them to your order.  If you are accommodating allergens that are not on that list, you can ask to speak with a Chef who can help you order a safe meal. When your food is delivered, the allergy-safe meals are delivered separately from the rest of your food for safety!

Im my experience, I have enjoyed Be Our Guest Restaurant where I have pre-ordered my food when dining by myself and when I have ordered at the restaurant when accommodating my son's food allergies. I did not find any advantages to pre-ordering and I actually prefer to order in person because I can decide that day exactly what I want to enjoy based on how hungry I am and what sounds good that day!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
