Hi Christian, welcome to planDisney!
Haul out the holly because you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort during
the most magical time of the year! If you're a fan of Christmas trees, I highly recommend participating in the Christmas Tree Stroll at
Disney Springs. Dazzling trees with Disney themes are spread throughout this popular dining and entertainment destination - no ticket or theme park reservation required! Mark the trees you find with a sticker on your complimentary Christmas Tree Stroll map and redeem your completed map for a souvenEAR button. Last year the Beauty and the Beast tree was my favorite. I hear there will be some new trees this year so Belle might have some competition.
My husband and I attended Disney After Hours Boo Bash at Magic Kingdom Park on Halloween night last year. When we passed through the lobby of
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in the wee morning hours of November 1, the groundwork was already being laid for the life-size gingerbread house, which was open for business by November 11. When my family returned to Magic Kingdom on November 2, we were greeted by a Christmas tree that reached up to the sky, ornamented garland, silver bells, and ribboned wreaths. All that was just on our walk down Main Street, U.S.A.! I'm confident that Magic Kingdom Park will be dressed in holiday style in time for your arrival, Christian.
I also expect holiday decor to emerge at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in time for your visit. EPCOT will likely be the last fully decorated theme park considering the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins on November 25 this year.
The pinnacle event of the holiday season,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, occurs in Magic Kingdom Park on select nights November 8 to December 22, 2022. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. and a separate ticket is required. The holiday projections on Cinderella Castle will not take place on nights that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is happening. If castle projections are a must-see for your family, I recommend making a
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park on November 12 or 13, which are non-party dates.
I ho-ho-hope this information helps you plan your November days of Christmas, Christian. Please visit planDisney again soon with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
