Hello! We are so excited to take our Little Ones to D.W. for the first time! We are staying at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness and having breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. How do we get to the restaurant (on the Boardwalk) from our resort, then to Epcot?

    Hi Michelle,

So happy you will soon be taking your little ones to Walt Disney World Resort, where The Magic is Endless.

One of the many Benefits for Disney Resort Hotel Guests is the complimentary Resort Transportation. You really do not need a car! You can travel comfortably either by boat, bus or monorail, between any of the Disney Resort hotels and Theme Parks.

Although there is no direct transportation between Resort hotels, you do have a few options. From The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you can take a bus towards Disney's Hollywood Studios. From there, you can take a boat to Disney's BoardWalk Inn, but you can also walk to it (about 15 minutes). After your meal at Trattoria al Forno, you can take the boat to Epcot. You will enter via the International Gateway Entrance. Download the My Disney Experience mobile app. Among the many wonders, it can do, it will quickly help you with point-to-point directions throughout the Resort.

One last tip: be sure to visit the Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page for additional tips and ideas. Happy planning!
