HI! We are so excited to be gong to Disney World between August 12th and 18th! I've been trying to figure out the cost of the different buffets, but they change "depending on season" - will the seasons change on the 15th? What will they cost?

    Cynthia:

The change that I believe your referring to is in reference to busy, peak, or holiday seasons vs. the rest of the year, not Value Season vs. Regular Season.

Usually during busy seasons at the parks (like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter or during peak times in the summer, but not the entire summer it seems), Disney's restaurants may raise their prices slightly. There's no difference in the menu selection, but there is usually an upcharge for a buffet of about $4 or so per person.

August is certainly not a busy season, so I don't think it will affect your vacation dates!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
