We are so excited to go on first ever cruise in just 2 weeks to Alaska! I was wondering, do I need a stroller on board? My daughter is almost 4 and doesn't ride in stroller very often now but wondering if you thought it necessary on the ship. Thanks!

    Hi, Darcie!

I'm so incredibly excited for you that you are taking your first ever cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder to Alaska -- you really know how to start off in style! Our family is taking the Alaskan cruise next month also, and we are absolutely thrilled!

As far as stroller advice, I don't think you're going to need/want one on the ship. I actually think that they kind of get in the way since the passageways can be narrow, and it's sometimes easier to take the stairs than to wait on elevators. Yet, for the Alaskan itinerary, you may need a stroller while in ports of call if you plan on doing some touring. If you don't want to rent one from the ship, you can certainly bring an umbrella-type stroller to carry with you at the ports. Your daughter may appreciate not having to walk as much as you may want to in order to see the sights at each port.

I hope that helps you plan! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
