So excited! Girls trip planned for Sept. Have tickets for MNSSHP 9/15. Thinking of Epcot that morning, then take monorail to MK for the party. If we park at Epcot, will we be able to take monorail back to get our car if Epcot closes at 9?

    Hey Diana-

Welcome back, so glad to see you again.  September is the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort. Perfect weather, perfect crowd level and my favorite perfect special event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There is nothing like Mickey’s Boo To You! Parade, Disney villains, and the über spectacular sorcery in the sky show known as Happy HalloWishes fireworks showcase. The whole event is spooktacular. We were there last year and heard and saw Happy HalloWishes from the terrace of Disney’s Contemporary Resort just outside of the California Grill. The next night we got to experience it live in front of the “Partners” statue featuring Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney. Absolutely stunning.

I would advise you to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (Magic Kingdom Park parking lot) in the morning and take the Epcot monorail between the two theme parks if you are planning to push through the whole day. You will experience a long day and having your car at the last theme park is going to be very convenient. My family takes a break between the morning park and attending special event parties in the evening. This strategy would allow you to drive to Epcot, leave after the morning fun, get ready for the party and then park at the Transportation and Ticket Center for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Building in some rest time will give you the energy all ghouls will need for the party.

Disney Dad Tip: The best place to view Mickey’s Boo to You! Halloween Parade is along the wooden walkway in Frontierland in front of the Country Bear Jamboree or along the small brick wall just in front of the Hall of Presidents attraction. Get to the parade about 20 minutes before for the pre-show and the Headless Horseman's eeire ride.

Diana, enjoy making many Magically Spooky Memories!
