So excited about Flower and Garden festival! Only been as an adult though. Is there stuff for lil kids too? My son is almost 2.

Welcome back to planDisney, Abigail! It sounds like you're thinking about a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth in the next few months, and I think that's so exciting! Summer is my favorite, and there's no better way to get ready for it than a Disney trip!

I am so glad you asked this question! The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has such a special place in my heart. The first time I attended this event was several years ago with my three oldest daughters. What I wouldn't give to experience that again! I treasure those photos and those memories. I also have a grandson who is nearly two years old, so this is right down my alley!

This year, the Flower and Garden Festival opens on March 4 and runs through June 1. The topiaries and gardens are the main attractions, of course, but the outdoor kitchens offering unique foods and beverages with garden-inspired flavors from around the world are major highlights, as well! Disney Parks Blog has all the menus in this Foodie Guide. If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll find some recommended kids' picks, as well. Don't forget to pick up your Festival Passport to participate in the food stroll and collect stamps.

    There's so much more, though!
    - Be sure to find the Get Out 'N' Play Garden Presented by OFF! Repellent where your little guy will be able to jump, play, and climb.
    - And don't miss Butterfly Landing presented by Advent Health. This is where you can get up-close interactions with a variety of butterfly species.
    - Your son can follow Spike the Bee throughout EPCOT's gardens in a fun scavenger hunt adventure called Spike's PollenNation Exploration.

While you're in EPCOT, make time for Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. The whole family will have fun interacting and playing with water in this beautiful outdoor trail. And you'll learn something about the water cycle along the way. This is a self-paced experience, so take your time and enjoy the details. There are several hidden characters carved into the scenery and photo opportunities along the way. It's a toddler's paradise!

We are so glad you trust planDisney with your Disney vacation planning questions, Abigail. I hope you have the most magical time with your sweet boy, because the years really are short. If there's anything else you can help with, you know where to find us!

    Always Dreaming -
