    Hi, we are very excited about our first vacation as Disney Vacation Club owners in March. There will be 7 of us staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge,and I was wondering if there is a way I can order groceries before we arrive and have them delivered.

    Hi Theresa!  Congratulations of becoming Disney Vacation Club members!  It was the best decision my family has made, and I know that you will just love it as well.  Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is one of our home resorts.   My family adores the exotic African theming as well as seeing zebras, giraffes, and Ankole cattle roaming around the resort.  Make sure you visit the pools as they are amazing.  If you are staying at Jambo House, the Uzima pool is the place to be.  It has a zero- depth entry and is breath taking.  Kidani Village hosts the Uwanja Camp play area for kids as well as a pool.  

    One of the many benefits to being a member is being able to have groceries at your room.  If you haven't already done so, I would recommend going to dvcmember.com and registering.  Once on the site, look under the "plan my vacation" tab and click on "Grocery list/ Request form."  This will bring up the list of resorts and their order forms.  You will need to print out the order form and fill it out and fax or mail it back to the resort.  Your groceries will be delivered to your room on your date of check in after 5 pm.  You must order the groceries at least three days before your arrival.  It's that simple.
