Hello: So excited, First time attend MNSSHP August 2018. Would Aug 28th (Tues) or the Frid Aug 31st be better choice to attend? Is higher crowds on Friday night as it's on the labour day long weekend? When do tickets go on sale? Regards, Beatriz

Hi Beatriz! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Oh, how I love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! My first memories of the party are of my son running all around Magic Kingdom Park in his little Buzz Lightyear costume, only about 1.5-years old. He brought a smile to everyone he passed as he laughed the whole night. His excited attitude may have been, in part, related to the candy he was eating while we were trick-or-treating during the party, but they are memories that I will hold onto forever!

If the party is held both nights that you are referring to, I would personally opt to attend the Tuesday event for the exact reasons you mentioned - it is usually less crowded mid-week AND with Friday being a holiday weekend it could definitely draw even bigger crowds. I think you are right on track with your planning!

Dates for the event are typically released in April, so you shouldn't have much of a wait before you know the exact dates. Tickets then usually go on sale around May. The Disney Parks Blog is a great place to watch for these announcements, so keep an eye there as well.

I hope this helps with your planning, Beatriz! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
