Very excited about our first family trip to Disney but overwhelmed as to where to start and what to see first! I have a 3 year old and a 16m old. We have 3 day tickets to the Parks. All advice appreciated!

    Hi Lucy!

Thanks so much for visiting us here on the Moms Panel. We're so honored that you would ask us for help when planning your magical vacation.

Planning your very first trip to Walt Disney World can be an amazing, yet overwhelming experience. No need to panic, though. The best part is that no matter what you plan to do, you and the rest of your family will have the time of your lives.

Since you have 2 little ones, I would suggest taking a look at this webpage created just for parents of itty bitty guests: Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones. This page will be such an asset to you as you plan. Another piece of advice I love to give parents of little ones is to let your kiddos take the reigns when you enjoy the parks. We should definitely plan out our family's meal times and accommodations, but when it comes to enjoying the theme parks, there's no better way than to let your kids be the navigator. We tried this experience when my little girl was only 2, and to this day, it's one of our favorite times we've ever spent at Walt Disney World. She decided what attractions to visit, what shows to enjoy, and even what snacks we should try as a family. At the ripe old age of 4, she still talks about that vacation.

Once you've checked out the webpage, feel free to ask any other questions that may pop up. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
