We are so excited to finally be taking our first Disney cruise in October. We're sailing on the Dream on the three-night Bahamian cruise. My husband and I have two boys, ages 8 and 5. What are some things that we cannot miss while onboard?

    Ahoy Alissa!

I'm so excited to hear that you're going on your first Disney cruise!  The Dream is GORGEOUS!

You are going to enjoy everything.  The boys will love their youth club and will probably never want to leave.  I know this for a fact...my kids BEGGED to leave them in their club until closing every night.

Don't miss the shows in the evening.  They are truly spectacular for all ages.  Make sure you all ride the fantastic AquaDuck Water Slide; that's so much fun!  While I know the kids are going to be completely entertained, I would suggest you not miss a trip to Senses Spa & Salon.  It's amazing, and SO relaxing...you can visit the Rainforest Room in the spa for total relaxation and pampering.  You get access to all of the steam rooms, rainforest showers, the adults only jacuzzis and the heated tile loungers.  All of this for approximately $16 per day.  It's my favorite part of Disney cruising!

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if there are any other questions I can answer for you.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical trip!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
