We are excited to finally "eat out" as we have not done so since quarantine began. Not sure we'll feel comfortable eating indoors. Is there a list of table service restaurants that offer or have increased outdoor seating?

Welcome to planDisney, Jill! You’ve come to the right place with your question!

Like you, I have been keeping close to home during this time. The few times I have ventured out for a sit-down meal, I’ve made sure to dine outdoors! I think Walt Disney World is the perfect place to eat out for the first time in a long time because they are taking a lot of precautions to help keep everyone safe!

My friend and fellow panelist Julie P., compiled a wonderful list of table service restaurants that offer outdoor dining at the Walt Disney World Resort. Some of the restaurants she recommended include Tony's Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park, Rose & Crown Dining Room in EPCOT, Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you’re looking to dine at Disney Springs, try The BOATHOUSE, STK, or Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin'

And, don’t forget to make your dining reservations! You may do so up to 60 days in advance online or by calling 407- 939- DINE (407-939-3463). While there is no way to request a seat outside when making a reservation, you can still request a table outside when you arrive at the restaurant. I recommend arriving a little earlier than your reservation time. As long as you’re prepared and willing to wait for an outdoor seat, a Cast Member would be happy to accommodate your request.
