Hi Rie!
I am so excited to “sea” that you are heading out on an adventure with Captain Mickey next month! And not just any adventure, but one with an entire day dedicated to Star Wars! I am sure your young padawan is looking forward to that and I guarantee you he won’t be disappointed!
The onboard
Youth Clubs are such a fun place for kiddos, and I am sure your son will agree! I have two boys and they simply cannot get enough time in there. No matter how much time I allow them to spend in there, we still have to bribe them to leave…but have found that a promise of chocolate chip cookies or a trip down the
AquaDuck work as great bribes! One of the great things about the Youth Clubs are the Youth Counselors in there. They make every kiddo in there feel comfortable and welcome. Between the organized and scheduled activities in the Youth Clubs (which can be found on the Personal Navigator or the Navigator app) and the free exploration options, he will likely find plenty of things to do! Additionally, I am also always so amazed at how easily – and quickly – the kiddos make new friends in there! Also, be sure that you visit the Youth Clubs with him during the scheduled Open House hours – he will love to show you around and you’ll love playing alongside him!
Disney Cruise Line always manages to arrange tablemates in a magical way, and I am not sure how they do it! But, if you would like to request that your tablemates have children, you can contact Disney Cruise Line to make that request. Again, it’s a request and not always guaranteed, but worth a call!
Wishing you all a FANTAStic adventure at sea!
Stephanie
