Hi there, Gina!
What a super fun way to finish off the year with a nice, long at vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm so excited for you!
There is so much magic that happens after the sun goes down at Disney and while the Parks do close earlier during some slower times of the year, your trip sounds like it's still during the busier holiday season.
I'm not certain of your arrival date, but when I pull up the calendar for Magic Kingdom Park during the week after Christmas, there are some nights where there are
Extra Magic Hours until 2:00 a.m.! You can find the calendar by going to the "Parks and Tickets" tab on the main Walt Disney World website. Just hover your mouse over it and when the drop-down menu pops up, look down at the bottom where you'll see "More Park Hours" and click there. You'll be taken to the calendar feature where you can select your dates and view the Parade and Fireworks times along with Park hours and other entertainment.
I absolutely love filling up my calendar with all of the details so I know exactly what's going on and when. Be sure to pick up a Times Guide on your way into the Park because things are always subject to change. Also, if you have a smartphone, be sure to download the free
My Disney Experience app for up-to-the-minute Park happenings at your fingertips!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question, Gina! Please feel free to write back in if you think of any other questions!
Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
