Hi! Excited for our Disney Cruise to Alaska leaving at the end of July. My question is on Palo Brunch on Day 3 - the Sitkine Glacier Day. We are currently booked at 11:30am but was wondering if that interferes too much with Glacier viewing on deck.

Welcome back to planDisney, Leanne! The Disney Wonder will soon be leaving southern California for Vancouver (British Columbia), Canada, to start sailings across Alaska, which reminds me of my 7-Night Alaskan Cruise last year.

My sister and I had a similar brunch time at Palo on glacier day during my itinerary.   It was the perfect time as we were just sailing toward Dawes Glacier and had beautiful views of waterfalls as the ice was melting.  We still had time to change into more casual clothes (and a coat) to go outside on the deck and get the full effect of Dawe's Glacier, especially as the ship turned around.  There is nothing like seeing a glacier in person! It is hard to describe in words!

I hope you have decided on some Port Adventures to enjoy while visiting other Ports of Call during your sailing.  We loved whale watching in Juneau, Alaska and even saw humpback whales bubble-net feeding.  In Ketchikan, Alaska, we casually walked around the port, picked up a couple of souvenirs, and ate lunch at a local restaurant.

Leanne, I hope you have some Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Breast in Palo for me while on the Disney Wonder this summer!   If you have any other questions, sail back to planDisney. We are here for you.

    Adventure is out there!
