We are excited to have dinner at the Polynesian on our last night during our August visit. We would like to stay and view fireworks from the beach. Will we have trouble getting transportation back to POFQ if MK closes at 9pm?

Hi Carrie! The monorails and buses will run for at least an hour after park closing. If you are at the Polynesian I suggest after the fireworks you hop on the monorail from that resort and take it to the Magic Kingdom. It will be a short walk over to the bus area and you will not be entering the park so that is not an issue. Find the signs for Port Orleans French Quarter and wait for the next bus to your resort. You should have plenty of time to make it.

If you wish to have a shorter return to your resort you can always have the valet desk call a taxi for you. It would be about a $16 ride back to Port Orleans.

Have fun and enjoy the fireworks!
