Hey there, Christine. It's always so great to hear from Guests from my home state! Welcome to planDisney!
The
dining plans offer both value and convenience to Guests and I too am happy to see them back. It's so easy to keep track of your remaining meals through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. And there's something about just scanning your
MagicBand to pay for food that's already been paid for that is so satisfying! Plus, it makes your trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort feel more "all-inclusive."
At this time, Guests using one of the dining plans are unable to redeem 2 quick-service meals for a table-service meal. Each table-service meal must be redeemed at
included table-service restaurants and quick-service meals must be redeemed at
included quick-service restaurants. If you'd like to experience table-service meals during your upcoming summer trip, I'd highly recommend purchasing the
Disney Dining Plan as it includes 1 table-service meal per Guest, per night of their stay.
When you purchase a dining plan, each Guest on the reservation gets a Resort-Refillable Drink Mug to use at your
Disney Resort Collections Hotel. So be sure to take advantage of this incredible perk. My strategy is to fill it up with some coffee in the morning before heading to a theme park. And while they cannot be refilled in the parks, I usually fill them up with water from the
Water Bottle Refill Stations throughout the day. Then, when I come back to the resort for a mid-day break, you better believe I'm refilling it before going back to my room or relaxing at the pool! It can be a great value in and of itself.
Christine, I hope you enjoy some out-of-this-world meals with the dining plan that you choose. If you have any other questions,
you're more than welcome to send them my way!
If it's Mickey-shaped, it's for me,
Matt
