    We are so excited for our Dec/Jan trip to wdw. We arrive late afternoon dec. 31st. We are looking for alternatives to being in a park for New Years Eve. Do the resorts do anything special? Downtown disney? Our kids are still young so looking for family fun

    Hi Tanya!
    I think it is great that you will be ringing in the new year in style at Walt Disney World!! There are lots of things to do outside of the theme parks, paricularly in and around Downtown Disney. Check out the attached link for a sample of what went down this past New Year's Eve:
