Excited that we get to come for 12days in the fall! Wanted to book something special for hubby and D10 & 2. Which is better, Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Spirit of Aloha? We have character dinings booked, just looking for advice from someone who has been t

    Hi Sara!

Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Spirit of Aloha dinner shows are both great dining experiences!  I think it all depends on what your family likes the best.  My son LOVES character interaction and moving around, so we really enjoy Mickey's Backyard BBQ.  My husband loves the BBQ food as well, so it's a win/win for my family.  You also can't beat Mickey ice cream bars for dessert.

Spirit of Aloha is also fun with delicious food, but there are no characters.  If you already have character dining booked, maybe Spirit of Aloha is best for you.  It is a beautiful show that I'm sure will be really engaging for your children.  The open air theater is quite unique to anything else at Walt Disney World and I'm sure you will really enjoy checking out the Polynesian Resort.

You can't go wrong with either experience.

    Have a magical day!
