    Hello! Very excited 26 days and counting! I know you can rent a variety of motorboats but is there anywhere you can rent kayaks?

    Fort Wilderness is certainly a spot where you can find some kayaks. Although the canals are usually ventured on with canoes, there are a few kayaks available to rent at the Bike Barn. This is located next to the main pool area and can be reached by bus to Fort Wilderness and then the internal bus. Ask the driver to let you know where you want to go and they will alert you to the best spot.

    Fort Wilderness has a great canal system.  I recently rented a canoe and enjoyed about an hour of paddling slowly through the waterways. During this trip I had to stop myself a few times to realize that I was indeed in Walt Disney World and not in some remote area of the northern woods of Wisconsin.  It was a beautiful adventure with many great birds to be seen along the way and not one person.  I can imagine that during busy times this would differ but it was one of the most peaceful moments during our stay. Enjoy!
