Hi Stacey,

Thanks for writing to us! How exciting that your first Disney Cruise Line vacation is right around the corner. For the most part, you will find that the dress code on board is very flexible and will accommodate your personal preferences. Formal nights provide an opportunity to dress up and take advantage of the onboard photography services. Most of my holiday card photos come from our Disney Cruise vacations in fact. Dress sandals for women are very appropriate and you will see many of them around the ship. You will find that most men will wear a jacket, pants and a shirt, with some in full suits and a few in tuxedos. However, if your husband is not comfortable with a jacket, he will be fine with a pair of slacks and a shirt. Ladies generally wear dress slacks, dresses or skirts, but again, formal night attire is optional.
