We're excited to be coming to WDW for March break with our two kids (2 &6). I'm looking at the AK Lodge or the Polynesian Resort. Any advice to offer? I like the monorail & boat access and so feel drawn to the Polynesian but am not sure.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah.

How excited you must be planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort and considering a stay at either Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge; tough choices, but you can't go wrong with either Resort hotel. Your decision depends on Resort hotel theme preferences and proximity to the Disney Theme Park/s you plan on visiting most often. If you visit Magic Kingdom Park a lot during your visits, for example, then the Monorail Resort hotels would place you minutes away. Keep in mind, however, that complimentary transportation is a benefit of being a Disney Resort hotel Guest, so, regardless where you stay, Disney will get you to your Theme Park of choice and back again.

Splitting your Resort hotel stay is a fun way to experience both choices and since both selections are in the Deluxe Resort Hotel category, budeting should be straightforward. It's easy to do, just make sure the check-out date of the first Resort hotel aligns with the check-in date of the second Resort hotel. During your stay, Bell Services can assist you with your luggage transfer to the next Resort hotel.
