Excited about coming around holidays this visit. Book dining soon. Is there a New Year Eve firework/dinner experience recommended? What would you all advise to do New Year Day w/ high crowds? Should plan a resort day or plan to a late park arrival day? TY

Hello Amy and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question about your planned trip during the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.
My family and I have always enjoyed the Christmas Season at Disney; we love the extra magical atmosphere, enchanting Holiday decor and I especially adore Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom Park.
New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World Resort is usually a glittering affair with special dining options available at select Disney Restaurants.  I particularly favour the California Grill with it's delicious menu, unrivalled visa of the Magic Kingdom Park and spectacular nighttime view of Happily Ever After
On New Year's Day I would gently begin January with a leisurely late breakfast or brunch at my Disney Resort hotel and then perhaps spend a few hours relaxing by the pool.  During the evening hours I might then take myself off to Disney Springs for a little retail therapy or even a fun time bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes.
I'm sure whatever is finally decided upon you'll enjoy an unforgettable New Year celebration at Walt Disney World Resort.
    Have a great Disney day.
