Hello! We are so excited to celebrate my daughter's Quince at WDW later this year! Will my daughter be allowed to wear a formal/homecoming style dress at the parks?

Hey there, Betzayda, and a big warm welcome to planDisney! A quinceañera is such a special occasion, and I can't think of a better place to celebrate than Walt Disney World! I'm beyond honored to help you map out all the magical details, so let's make sure your daughter's birthday is one she'll never forget!

First of all, your daughter sounds like a girl after my own heart! I may be 40-something, but my inner princess is never far from the surface. She's always right there, ready to emerge in a twirling, sparkling ballgown - especially when it comes to a party! So naturally, I completely understand the urge to dress for the occasion!

Betzayda, your daughter is welcome to wear whatever she likes for her quinceañera, as long as her outfit follows Disney World's Guest Attire Policies. This means no long dresses that touch or drag on the ground, or any outfit that "exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment." Basically, she should be fine with a homecoming-style dress, as long as it isn't too long or too revealing. Fortunately, I'm sure she'll be stunning, no matter what she wears!

Now, if you want to do something extra special to mark this important milestone, a Capture Your Moment photo shoot might be just the thing! These personal, 20-minute photography sessions are available at all four theme parks and are the perfect way to make some extra magical memories. This popular Enchanting Extra experience tends to book up fast, so be sure to snag your spot 60 days in advance!

Bonus Tip: I usually aim for comfort whenever I visit the parks, so if you're planning a full-on park day, I'd recommend bringing a change of clothes (and shoes!) for your daughter. This way, she can celebrate in style and enjoy the parks comfortably. If you're worried about storing her quinceañera dress, rent a locker to store your belongings.

I hope this is helpful, Betzayda! I'm wishing your daughter the happiest, most memorable quinceañera EVER in The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney.

    Magic awaits,

    Allison
