Hi Francine,
Celebrating a birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort is just about as magical as it gets! Your princess's first visit is going to be filled with lots of pixie dust! Be sure to get a "Happy Birthday" Celebration Recognition Button when you check-in at your Resort Hotel or at Guest Services at any of the Theme Parks. It's so much fun to share your celebration with Cast Members and other Guests!
The best thing about
FastPass+ is that you can choose 3 different Attractions per day per Theme Park so you can select both rides and Character Meet and Greets. I suggest sitting down with your daughter and picking your "must-do" Experiences in each Park and then making those your FastPass+ selections. Also, there are many Character Meet and Greets throughout the Theme Parks that don't require a FastPass. To see which Characters are available for Meet and Greet Experiences pick up a Times Guide when you arrive at each Theme Park; there you'll find a schedule of Characters and Meet and Greet times that are available throughout the day.
I also recommend booking a few Character Dining Experiences. One of my favorites is 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. During our last visit we enjoyed Breakfast and Dinner there. In the morning we met Alice, The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger and in the evening we enjoyed a royal meal with Cinderella and Prince Charming as well as Lady Tremaine and Cinderella's stepsisters Anastasia and Drizella. The Characters are very interactive with Guests and the menu there is fantastic; a very enchanting Experience!
Please visit us again should you have any additional vacation planning questions!
Enjoy Your Magical Celebration,
Susan
