I am excited to bring my toddler to WDW in October. He is crazy about Lightening McQueen and Mater. What are the best Cars themed things to do?

    Ka-Chow, Margaret!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My own little guy is also obsessed with all things "Car movie!" Lightning McQueen is currently spending his days practicing and training to master his moves for the brand new show Lighting McQueen's Racing Academy, which opens in 2019 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, so sadly you won't be able to catch him or his auto-pals at the parks during your visit.

However, your family is more than welcome to visit Lightning and his crew at Radiator Springs at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Definitely bring your camera because here you'll find life-size statues of the whole gang and their picturesque town. Lightning and Sally hang out in front of the Wheel Well Motel; Luigi and Guido are ready to sell you a new set of tires at Casa Della Tires; there's even an insta-perfect Cozy Cone neon sign! You'll also be able to pose with Doc, Flo, Filmore, Ramone, Sarge, and your sons other favorite, Tow Mater! You can take a Disney Bus from any Disney Theme Park or Disney Springs to this resort hotel. And don't forget your Disney Dining Plan refillable mug as it will work in the Landscape of Flavor restaurant!

Other transportation pit stops you should make: Children 32" and up can drive a real car at The Tomorrowland Speedway; the Barnstormer flies just like Dusty Crophopper (Lightning's aviation cousin); and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is the 'self-driving car of the future' of yesteryear. My son's favorite? Disney's Monorail!

    See You Real Soon, Margaret!
